ABSOLUTE COSMIC FUCK-ALL / PAINTING OF A PILE OF TRASH
(2026)

Whatever we produce as artists is destined for either the gallery or the landfill.

Painting of a Pile of Trash, together with its sculptural counterpart Absolute Cosmic Fuck-All, pose a question: What is the difference between art and trash?

Assembled from found objects and painted on a plywood scrap, the body of work reflects on the material reality of art practice in late-stage-capitalism, wherein human-made objects and consumer excess have surpassed all living biomass on planet Earth. It is an attempt to create meaning without contributing waste, all while toying with the threshold of what belongs on a plinth and what ends up in the scrapyard.
